The Halloween,which in children’s eyes,the most mysterious holiday,is also a free-to-play festival for western kids.It’s been 11 years since Anqing Foreign Language School launched the traditional Hallowmas.
1st November,2015,on the campus of Anqing Foreign Language School,coloured flags fluttering,people moving in,there was a really bustling crowd.Firstly,various pumpkin sculptures fully embodied our students’ imagination.Secondly,English Commodity Street was filled with students’ hand-made articles,which were exquisite,of course.Thirdly,Chinese calligraphy showcased the talents and skills of teachers and students.Fourthly,the exhibition stand became the focus of attention of tourists in that the handcraft products broadened people’s horizon.Furthermore,varied and graceful talent shows and club activities made highlight.Besides,our school’s foreign teahcers actively participated by arranging distinguishing features as well as promoting Happy English activities,which adequately unfolded characteristics of Anqing Foreign Language School before our eyes.
In the afternoon,thousands of students and their parents from downtown and suburbs also attended the annual event,shared the splendidness and merriness of this holiday season.More noticeably,more than 10 games were carried out,which sweetended ecah child’s face.
In conclusion,the annually-held Halloween party not only demonstrates the achievements of quality-oriented education in Anqing Foreign Language School,but also entitles each student to a more youthful and promising future!
